LOOK: President Duterte strikes black suit on day 2 of ASEAN Summit

For the first time since he assumed office, Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte donned a black suit on the 2nd day of ASEAN Summit in Vientiane, Laos.

Duterte ditched his go-to outfit 'maong tagalog' to the surprise of everyone. Duterte was dapper in a suit as he attended the events with other heads of state.

Malacanang also revealed that Duterte and US President Barack Obama will be seated next to each other during a gala dinner on Wednesday.

"Presidents Duterte and Obama will be seated next to each other, which expectedly, will focus all cameras on them to deliver to the world the encounter of the two," MalacaƱang said in a statement.

From left Sec Jess Dureza of OPAPP, Sec Lopez of DTI, DND Sec Lorenzana, Philippine Pres. Duterte, DSWD Sec. Manay Judy, DFA Sec. Prospero Yasay and OSAP Sec. Bong Go.
