President Duterte and the country's flag carrier Philippine Airlines are making history today.

In a post on Philippine Plane Spotters Group Facebook group, user Gabriel Cadiz shares this amazing story.
Going down in Davao aviation history: First time for a Boeing 777 to land in RPMD. Here we have the newest aircraft of @flypal, RP-C7778 as PR2.

The said aircraft will be used by President Duterte to fly to Auckland, New Zealand then Lima, Peru for the 2016 APEC Summit as flight PR1.

President Rody Duterte is bound to Lima, Peru from Davao International Airport on November 17, 2016.

The President is scheduled to make his debut as the Philippines’ newly elected president in the 24th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Leaders’ Meeting in Lima on November 19-20, 2016.
