Covert CIA operation claimed the lives of 44 Filipino special troopers, President Duterte bares

Mamasapano mission was a CIA (Central Intellegence Agency) operation, this is what President Duterte bared on the eve of the 2nd anniversary of the botched Mamasapano operation, which killed 44 troopers of the Special Action Force (SAF) in January 2015.

The mission? Neutralizing Malaysian terrorist Zulkifli bin Hir alias Marwan.

It's a public knowledge how CIA, United State's leading spy agency, conducts covert operations that basically violate sovereign nation's laws.

“And why was it under wraps? Bakit ninyo tinago na iyon was an operation of the CIA?” Duterte said in a speech before the families of the SAF troopers in Malacañang.

“Kaya far from the highway, nandoon ang chopper and you had to delude the nation that after the Marwan finger was cut, it was delivered dito sa Crame [police headquarters] for the forensics, when as a matter of fact, ang helicopter, ang nagdala doon sa just for validation, to confirm that it was indeed Marwan.”

(That's why far from the highway, your chopper was there and you had to delude the nation that after the Marwan finger was cut, it was delivered here in Crame for the forensics, when as a matter of fact, your helicopter was the one that brought it just for validation, to confirm that it was indeed Marwan.)

While Marwan was killed in the said operation, it also claimed the lives of the 44 gallant SAF troopers.

They were killed because PNoy didn't allow to send reinforcements because that would have violated the ongoing ceasefire as part of the peace negotiations with the moro rebels.

According to reports, a DNA sample that was obtain from a person they thought to be Marwan matched that of Marwan's brother who is currently detained at Guantanamo Bay, a US-operated prison that houses the world's most notorious terrorists.

US Federal Bureau of Investigation conducted the DNA test.

Lengthy senate inquiry was carried out after the botched Mamasapano operation. While the senate report cited the US' 'substantial role' in providing training, equipment and intelligence to the Filipino forces, the CIA was never mentioned.

A statement from a US government official only said: "This operation was planned and executed by Philippine authorities. We refer you to them for details of the operation."

This is very sad considering that former President BS Aquino signed up on sending the gallant SAF troopers to a lion's den.
