BREAKING: Palace announces cancellation of 2017 Valentine's Day

In solidarity with all single Filipinos, the Palace has decided to cancel this year's Valentine's Day celebration.

This came after a recent poll by PA-fall Asia showed that 70% of Filipinos aged 18-35 are single. 70% of those surveyed said that they were pinaasa, 20% were ipinag-palit sa iba, while the rest said "nahulog kami kay best."

Ricardo Hugot, Executive Director of PA-fall Asia, said that they don't have any information on the implications of their recent findings to the Philippine society as their research is still on going.

Meanwhile, Presidential spokesman Earnest Two Abella said this decision was 'thoroughly discussed' during the cabinet meeting which happened on Monday evening.

The President was also quoted last week saying, "....ramdam ko kayo. Tabla tabla na 'to!"
