Air assets that Philippine Air Force might get soon

Here's a report from MaxDefense Philippines:

While there were reports that the Philippine Air Force has expressed its interest on Korea Aerospace Industries' KUH-1 Surion helicopter for its Combat Utility Helicopter requirements, it is worth noting that this is not the only helicopter the PAF has expressed interest in.

First of, there is still strong interest in acquiring more Bell 412, considering that it is already in service.

The PAF has also considered the Leonardo AW139 and has also received offers from Airbus for their new H160 helicopter, and has also looked into Russian alternatives including the Mi-17 and Mi-171 helicopters which will be demonstrated to the AFP soon.

Aside from new units, the PAF has also received lease-to-own solutions using UH-60 Black Hawk and Airbus H225M Caracal helicopters that are ready for delivery in a few weeks.

The AFP is flooding with offers.

Its just up to the government to approve the funding and the AFP to implement the acquisition process fast.

President Duterte in previous speeches vowed to give the military all it needs to perform its mandate.

How soon will they arrive, that's the lingering question given how bureaucratic processes slow down the procurement of additional assets.
