Air Force's FA-50 fighter jets now armed with live sidewinder, maverick missiles

Here are among the best photos taken of the PAF's FA-50PH light combat/LIFT aircraft during the PAF's 70th Anniversary celebrations July 5, 2017.

The photos also highlight the aircraft armed with AIM-9B Sidewinder and AGM-65G2 Maverick missiles, as well as M117 750lb bombs.

The AIM-9 Sidewinder is a short-range air-to-air missile developed by the United States Navy in the 1950s while the AGM-65 Maverick is an air-to-ground tactical missile (AGM) designed for close air support which is also the most widely produced precision-guided missile in the Western world.

All photos are owned and captured by MaxDefense community member Efrain Noel Morota, who shared the photos to  MaxDefense Philippines Facebook page.
