READ: Fallen scout ranger's tear-jerking farewell letter to his wife

As of June 9, 2017, 87 soldiers have been killed since the Marawi siege started. And there are 87 families that are grieving the loss of their loved ones. While it is easy for us to render our salute and pay tribute with our praises and admiration for their bravery, their loves ones get the heaviest emotional and mental toll, especially the wives and their children.

And I am sure as I have seen in the families of our fallen soldiers in the past, that it broke their hearts when they were informed of the fate of their husbands. I pray that our Lord will comfort them.

I am posting and sharing this letter to honor our fallen soldiers, our heroes.

Sgt. Jeff Sangdaan is one of our Scout Rangers who were killed during an encounter with the ISIS terrorists in Marawi.

SGT JEFF SANGDAAN'S FAREWELL LETTER TO HIS WIFE
"Habang binabasa mo to.

At habang binabasa mo to andun nako.
