Bawal Utang! Expensive church services that you need to pay in cash

In Metro Manila, funeral package prices can go for a low of P15,000 to a high of P250,000 depending on the family’s choice of services.
We often say that it's expensive to die in the Philippines. And that is absolutely true!

Besides the funeral costs, you'd still have to pay the church to pay for you to make sure that your soul gets into heaven safe and sound.

Regardless of your opinion about it, one cannot discount the fact that it's only one of many customs that we Filipinos religiously observe. Traditions that were highly influenced - some say they are imposed on us- by the church.

Below are the list of all services (with their prices) that the Roman Catholic church in the Philippines render to its flock.

BAPTISM
Cheapest: P2,500 - Depending on the services, it can go up to P50,000.

FUNERAL
Cheapest: P1,500 - Depending on the services, it can go up to P30,000.

WEDDING

With these hefty prices, one can't help but to ask, is this also what God has tasked them to do?
