Duterte's skyrocketing ratings prove Filipinos do not care about Maria Ressa at all

It's sad, right?

That your own countrymen don't believe you.

That they don't fall for your lies and deception.

Maria Ressa knows this very well that's why she's taking her case to the international stage and hoping that she can trick them too.

Too bad for Amal Clooney for falling for a con woman (or is she a man?) like Maria Ressa.

Amal Clooney might amplify Maria Ressa's lies to the international community, but Filipinos won't fall for it.

Ressa have been bitching about her case in may forums in the Philippines, but even up to this day, her cries for action are yet to resonate.

She will never get traction among the Filipinos whose opinions matter the most.

Ouch!

It amazes me that Maria Ressa really likes to say in her interviews with international media outfits that 'cases pile up against her and Rappler' but deliberately refuse to discuss what these cases are and the merits.

If Maria Ressa is really for justice and truthful journalism, she should at least discuss these cases, without her biased commentaries, and let viewers decide which side to believe.

Objectivity is in the core of a journalist's identity, but too bad this is no longer the case for most journalists here in the Philippines.

If Maria Ressa is really the face of Philippine Journalism, then we really are fucked!
