Senator Bong Go: Trillanes is the true ‘Bikoy’

Senator Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go hit back on Wednesday, February 19, on former senator Antonio Trillanes IV after the latter accused President Rodrigo Duterte and Go of bullying.

Alam ng tao ‘yun,” Go told reporters during an interview in Bocaue, Bulacan, where he distributed financial and relief assistance to more than 700 individuals who lost their homes in a fire.
Go was referring to the hooded man called Bikoy in a series of videos that were spread online linking the President and his family to drug syndicates. An ex-convict named Peter Joemel Advincula later revealed himself as Bikoy.

Go said.

In connection with the controversial videos, government prosecutors have filed a conspiracy to commit sedition case against Trillanes and ten others. When Trillanes posted bail for the case on February 18, he told reporters, “Si Duterte, sila Bong Go, 'yang mga 'yan, pasiga-siga 'yang mga 'yan ngayon.

Go said that Trillanes has the right to post bail. “Karapatan niyang mag-bail. Panagutan niya ‘yan. Kalokohan niya ‘yan.”

The Senator expressed the same sentiments in another interview at the Senate.

To disprove allegations that he has a tattoo indicating membership in a drug syndicate, Go has bared his back twice in press briefings.

The Senator also said that he will face any charges that may be filed against him when the term of President Duterte ends. Baka makagat kami ng asong ulol,” he said, addressing Trillanes.

“Ikaw ang mayabang. Si Bong Go lang ako. Hindi ako si Trillanes. Tandaan mo ‘yan,” the Senator added.

In the same interview, Go expressed a strong stand against the alleged “pastillas” scheme in the Bureau of Immigration to facilitate the entry of Chinese nationals into the country.

“Kung totoo man ito, maniwala kayo sa akin, ‘yung pastillas na nirorolyo, ipapakain sa inyo ‘yan ng Pangulo, pero ang palaman pera,” he said, addressing immigration officials.

He shared that the President raised the pay of immigration officials so that they would not resort to corruption.

Nilunok niya.”
