Nurse in Las Piñas Becomes New Patient of Coronavirus Amid Pandemic
NURSE IN LAS PIÑAS – A medical frontliner in Las Piñas was confirmed positive for coronavirus or COVID-19.

More than 200 nations and territories are on a tough fight now against coronavirus. Officially called as COVID-19, it is now a pandemic as its impact is far beyond what was expected of the disease.

In just around five (5) months, it has infected over five (5) million people across the globe. Unfortunately, over 350,000 people died because of the said disease.

Over 2.4 million people have recovered from the disease. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), it is going to be a long-term battle against the disease.

The Philippines is one of the countries with confirmed cases of coronavirus. Unfortunately, in the country, several doctors and nurses were infected by the disease.

The doctors, nurses, policemen, military, staff of restaurants, delivery men, and grocery staff are among the frontliners in the fight against COVID-19. Some of them died due to the disease.

Recently, a nurse in Las Piñas becomes another COVID-19 patient. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the 33-year-old is a female nurse who lives in Barangay Manuyo Dos.

The nurse is one (1) of the ten (10) new cases of COVID-19 in the city. According to the report, there are now 264 cases of coronavirus recorded in the city.

Out of the 264 cases of COVID-19, 121 patients have recovered from the disease. Currently, there are now 15,049 cases of coronavirus recorded in the country.

There are still no further information as to the condition of the nurse. More updates may be posted soon.
